Nouvel uses artificial intelligence to produce synthetic media, including video, audio, scripts, and images, and we take the responsible use of this technology seriously. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Nouvel to generate, distribute, or promote content that:

• Impersonates real individuals: creating synthetic likenesses or voices of real people without their explicit written consent
• Deceives or misleads: presenting AI-generated content as genuine user testimonials, endorsements, or real footage without disclosure
• Contains illegal material: including content that violates applicable laws, promotes illegal activity, or facilitates fraud
• Harasses or threatens: targeting individuals or groups with abusive, threatening, or discriminatory content
• Exploits minors: any content that depicts, targets, or exploits individuals under the age of 18
• Infringes intellectual property: using copyrighted material, trademarks, or trade secrets belonging to third parties without authorisation
• Promotes violence or hate: content that incites violence, glorifies terrorism, or promotes hatred against protected groups

3. Synthetic Media Disclosure

When distributing content generated by Nouvel, you are responsible for complying with all applicable disclosure requirements for AI-generated or synthetic media. Many jurisdictions and advertising platforms require clear labelling when content is AI-generated. You must:

• Follow platform-specific guidelines for AI-generated ad content on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other distribution channels
• Comply with applicable advertising regulations, including FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials
• Not represent AI-generated actors as real customers, users, or endorsers unless clearly disclosed

4. Advertising Standards

Content generated for advertising purposes must comply with applicable advertising laws and platform policies. You may not use Nouvel to create ads that:

• Make false or unsubstantiated claims about products or services
• Promote prohibited products or services (as defined by applicable law and ad platform policies)
• Use deceptive pricing, fake urgency, or misleading offers
• Target vulnerable populations with manipulative messaging
• Violate the advertising policies of the platforms where ads will be distributed

5. Prohibited Uses of the Platform

In addition to content restrictions, you may not:

• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the underlying AI models
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-access the Service
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service or its outputs without written consent
• Use the Service to develop competing products or benchmark against competing services
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

6. Content Moderation

We employ automated and manual review processes to detect policy violations. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or disable access to content that violates this policy
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this policy
• Report illegal content to appropriate law enforcement authorities
• Cooperate with platform providers, regulators, and law enforcement as required

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of content generated through Nouvel that violates this policy, please report it to support@nouvel.ai. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, including content removal and account suspension.

8. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Warning and required remediation
• Temporary suspension of account access
• Permanent termination of your account
• Reporting to law enforcement where required by law

The severity of the response will be proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. Repeated or egregious violations will result in immediate termination.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the regulatory landscape for AI-generated content evolves. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
